Terms and Conditions
General Rules
We strongly ask that swimmers use the showers provided and go to the toilet before entering the poolside therefore not to disrupt lesson time
All shoes must be removed before entering poolside
All swimmers should wear a swimming hat
Running or inappropriate behaviour is not acceptable. We are not responsible for the occurrence of injury/ accident as a result of failure to comply with these rules
Strictly No Photography or the use of Video Equipment
Children must arrive at least ten minutes prior to their lessons to ensure all lessons are run on time
All payment must be made upfront at the start of any lessons; this includes one-2- ones, and crash courses
Payment is payable by card, direct debit, cash or bank transfer.
If payment and the re-enrolment form is not received by the specified closing date then your child’s place may be allocated to another child
During stages 1-3 each teacher could teach a class of up to 6 children
During stages 4-7 each teacher could teach a class up to 8 children which still lays within the teachers ability
The teacher is subject to change without any notice
Holidays
Should you take a holiday during term time then you will still be charged for the full term. This includes bank and school holidays
If your child refuses to participate in the lesson then refunds or credits will not be given.
Cancellations
Should you chose to cancel your child’s place 7 days prior to the start of term that you have enrolled and paid for, then you will be refunded all payment minus a one lesson administration fee
After signing up to Elites swimming there is a two lesson notice period for ending your lessons with us. You will still be charged these two lessons if you decide to stop straight away.
Refunds or alternative lesson time will not be given if the Registered swimmer refuses to get into the water or you change your mind about continuing with the lessons/course booked or you are unable to continue to attend for any reason(s) within this two week notice period
Power cuts, adverse weather, disasters, terrorism, war and pandemics that cause cancellation will not be refundable as they are out of our control
If our swimming pool hirers cancel Elites swimming’s pool hire at any time an alternative swim lesson date will be offered, this may be at a different time and on a different day to your normal weekly class and may be during a half term holiday week. If you are unable to make the date / time offered no refund or credit will be given.
For personal holidays and other extenuating circumstances as to why you cannot attend a lesson, these will not be refunded or have catch up swims offered.
Endless pool cancellations
Cancellations prior to 7 days before the swimmer’s lesson are allowable for a full refund
Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable or transferable
Block bookings have 31 days to take their next lesson before the lesson is lost.
Elites teachers may vary and not be the ones selected due to illnesses/absences. Refunds will not be given if you choose not to participate.
Endless pool Payments
Payments are to be made in full prior to the start of each lesson.
Swimmers have one month to book their next session within their block.
Sickness
Should your child be ill, have a heavy cold, sinusitis or ear infection then we request they do not swim. There will be no refund for sickness.
A doctor’s note will be required if your child is absent from lessons for more than a period of four weeks due to a broken limb, the requirement of an operation or has been given a medical reason as to why they are unable to participate in the remaining lessons.
Subject to the above and a doctor’s note, lessons missed will be carried over to the following month at a rate of 50%
Complaints
We strive to give you the best possible service at all times but should you have a complaint with any aspect of Elites Swimming then please email us at elitesswimming@gmail.com. We will then endeavour to resolve the issue as soon as possible
Our Guarantee
We guarantee to provide your child with fun, safe and productive swimming lessons that build confidence and ability.
We use fully qualified teachers at all times with valid up to date DBS checks
Teachers may be changed without prior notice to Parents/Carers/Swimmers at any time. No Teachers can be guaranteed to remain the same from one course to the next and we will not advise in advance of any Teacher changes. You can call us before course starts to ask if changes have been made if you know that your swimmer find change difficult.
Parental Responsibilities
In the changing rooms, children are the parent’s responsibility, when the child steps out onto the poolside they become Elites Swimming’s responsibility
At no point must parents interact or distract teachers or swimmers whilst lessons are in progress. Parents are allowed to approach the poolside in the event of health and safety
Liabilities
Elites Swimming are not liable for any damages or loss of property whilst in or on the premises or within the grounds of the premises.
Elites Swimming will not accept any liability for any accident / injury (including fatality) to any parent, child, guest or visitor that may occur on the premises or within the grounds/ car park of the premises, other than liability which may arise from the negligence of Elites Swimming, its staff or its agents.
Any such incidents must be reported to Elites Swimming immediately.
Certificates
Upon enrolment, customers agree to a mandatory payment of £1.20 upon receiving their child's certificate for stage completion
Photography/Videos and Personal Data:
You agree that any photographs/videos taken by Elites swimming Management, whilst swimmers are taking part in our swimming classes can be used on our facebook page, website or advertising flyers and that no further permission will be needed from you.
Refer a Friend Promotion -Terms & Conditions
***Refer a friend promotion requires a minimum of two months sign up. One month paid and one month free.
To be eligible to qualify as part of this promotion, you must be an actively registered participant of Elites Swimming Group Swimming Lessons.
The referred swimmers must contact Eliites Swimming prior to sign up
The existng customer making the referal must contact Elites swimming notifying of the swimmer they're referring prior to them commencing their lessons.
The ‘Refer A Friend’ offer will run from March 1st 2024, until December 15th 2024.
You will be notified by email or text message to the contact details registered on your account of a successful referral. Customers are responsible for ensuring the contact details on their account are up to date.
If Elites Swimming has been unable to contact the existing customer within 14 days of the referral, both customers shall forfeit the discount and Elites Swimming can expire the discount offer.
Once the existing customer has responded and Elites Swimming have verified the details to their satisfaction, both the existing customer and the new customer will receive their discount from the start of the following month.
If a new customer signs up half way through a month, they will be liable to pay for the remaining lessons of that month before the discount is applied to the following month
Elites Swimming has the right, at their reasonable discretion, to alter, amend or terminate this offer with prior notice.

Elites Swimming General Promotion Terms and Conditions apply to this promotion.
This offer is valid for use on Group Swimming Lessons only and cannot be transferred.
This offer is valid per swimmer. One new swimmer recommended, One existing swimmer receives four free lessons.
This offer requires a minimum of two months’ membership from the new customer sign-up date.
The existing swimmer agrees to continuing their membership for a minimum of four weeks post discount application.
Payment is still required if a swimmer wants to end their lessons before the end of the additional four weeks.
This offer cannot be transferred to another swimmer if any swimmer terminates their lessons.
Referred member can only be referred by one current member.
Minimum of six-month period for returning customers to be classed as a ‘New Member’ for the referral promotion.
For multiple referrals, the discount is re-applied after the 2-month existing promotion.
