He and his team differentiate their teaching well, quickly supporting anyone who is struggling. They are fully inclusive, striving to build the confidence of all pupils, particularly those more nervous swimmers. Alex has got in to the water with one of our pupils who is wheel chair bound ensuring that she is happy and feels fully part of the lessons. I would happily recommend Alex and Elites to other schools.
Maple Grove Primary School
The team have a very calm but encouraging manner, and this ensures that the children thoroughly enjoy their first taste of competitive swimming. At a more serious level, they coached our top swimmers in preparation for the schools’ galas – this year, Buttsbury’s Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 teams both qualified for the County Finals and finished in third place. This was the first time the school had ever reached that level. Elites Swimming motivated and encouraged the children as well as coaching in the finer points of high level competitive swimming.
Buttsbury Junior School
Whilst the primary objective is on developing technique, each lesson also provides a good level of exercise which we feel is important to our daughter’s physical development and well-being. The lessons are focused and disciplined, but there is also a fun element about the lessons, so often the learning and development takes place with plenty of smiles on their faces.
Elites are a well-run, professional club. Parents get regular feedback from Alex regarding their child’s achievements. I would highly recommend Elites to any child with any abilities, Elites patience and encouragement is second to none.
Alex not only provides high quality coaching, which has greatly improved his technique, but he has a natural way of engaging with my son who has speech delays, general learning difficulties and dyspraxia. Even on days when my son struggles to concentrate Alex never fails to get the very best out of him.
